Is there anything more powerful than a boy’s imagination? Inspired by the simplest things – a box, a stick or, as you’ll see, a quilt – a young child can create new adventures, new worlds, even new friends!
Small quilts can be used as capes to inspire the superhero in your son (it’s a bird… it’s a plane… it’s Quiltman!) while larger blankets can form living room forts secure from little sisters. Or let Junior take his custom quilt into the backyard and it becomes a teepee-shaped tent where outdoor escapades are shared with (real or imaginary) friends. And when your little guy is tuckered out from all this play, many day care locations ask that you provide a 19” x 45” quilt for curling up on during nap time – a personalized mat from Whimzie Quiltz will inspire his dreams, too!

2009 “WQ and You” Charity Giving
Every time you request a Whimzie Quiltz design in 2009, my husband and I will donate $20 to charity:water, a non-profit bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations – as long as your design includes blue fabrics.
It costs you nothing, because Whimzie designs are free to you, but our $20 donation based on your request will help give one person clean, safe drinking water for 20 years. If you go ahead and place your blue quilt order, we’ll contribute another $20!
100% of the money charity:water raises goes directly to fund wells and other fresh water projects in countries like Bangladesh, Malawi, Ethiopia and Honduras. They are a new charity, but have an impressive record already – in two years, charity:water has raised over $7 million and funded over 800 water projects.
With the help of caring Whimzie Quiltz customers like you, we’re hoping to donate at least $500, maybe more, to charity:water in 2009. I’m looking forward to designing and creating some beautiful quilts for you this year while supporting this important cause!
